3-month yoga course begins in Adikavi Nannaya Univiersity | The Hans India
Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya Univiersity (AKNU), in association with Yoga Consciousness Trust (YCT), started its three-month certificate course in yoga at Dharmam Chara Community Hall here on Monday. After completion of the course, the university will issue certificate to the participants.
The YCT secretary, MVGS Sharma said that they were conducting a post-graduate course in yoga in Tadepalligudem and Kakinada campuses of the university. “Yoga practice would help in maintaining sound health and good physique. It also avoids stress and strain,” he said.
He appealed to the students and youth to inculcate the habit of practicing yoga to keeps diseases at bay. He also pointed out how other countries were showing interest on yoga and practicing it. The university director of admissions, Dr Jyotyhirmayi, Dr Kari Rama Reddy and yoga trainer, Raparthi Ramu took part in the event.
