Parampara Foundation organises Gudi Sambaralu at Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple | The Hans India

Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple is located on the banks of River Krishna on Munigiri Hills at Yanamalakuduru village of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. Lord Shiva is the presiding deity here in the form of Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy as SwayambhuShivalinga.

It is called Vayu linga in the temple. The temple is located at a height of 612 feet on the Munigiri Hills. Rich was the Indian tradition of dance, music and storytelling, which formed the core of the Indian ethos and they were mostly set against the backdrop of temples.

The vision of Gudisambaraalu is to bring awareness and inspire the society to nurture our cultural and natural heritage; to help integrate it in the mainstream of life through the advocacy and backing of the common man.

‘GudiSambaraalu’ is a humble endeavour to bring back this age- old tradition of presenting dance and music in the temples, where they originated from.  This year too, GudiSambaraalu has a sparkling line up of artists performing at temples all over Hyderabad and Telangana and is introducing itself for the first time to the state of Andhra Pradesh, performing in Nellore and Vijayawada.
