The ‘Yagya’ is being carried out in two sessions: mornings between 9 am to 12 noon and 5pm to 8pm in. Rituals like Chandi Yagya, Rudra Yagya, Parayan of Vedasuktas are being performed under a well-arranged tent, where entry of outsiders is strictly restricted. Idols and portraits of Medha Dakshinmukhi Swami, Lopamudra, Augustya Maharishi Swami and Ramdoot Hanuman along with Dr Hedgewar and Guru Golkwar have been placed at the venue.
Reliable sources told Free Press that the entire exercise is being hosted by the Hyderabad-based Mahashakti Yaag Trust, while the RSS is extending its support. In 2025, the RSS will turn 100, bringing to an end the present exercise. The Yagya series started from Shri Shailam Jyotirlinga. The Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga is the third point where the Yagya is being performed. Omkareshwar will follow suit. After covering all the 12 Jyotirlingas, the organisers will cover all 52 Shaktipeeth places in the country, including Ujjain’s Harsiddhi mandir. The entire expenditures are borne by the trust while local help is being provided by the RSS. “The Yagya is being organised for the upliftment of Hindu religion and the nation as per the ideology of RSS,” the source disclosed.
