Government of Telangana organised a classical music concert recently at Amphitheatre, Shilparamam as a part of Shivaratri festivities. Carnatic music concert ‘Shivaraadhana’, and ‘Shivoham’ a Bharatanatyam dance performed. Sangeetha sisters, Rajya Lakshmi and Sangeetha Kala rendered songs on Lord Shiva.
These two sisters were accompanied by Sucharla Sharma (Mridangam) and Vijaya Bhaskar (Violin). The Sangeetha sisters mesmerised the audience with their enthralling performance of Shivaraadhana.
Following this, Smitha Madhav, Carnatic classical singer and Bharatanatyam dancer performed Bharatanatyam for Pushpanjali, Jaganmohini Krishna, Nandi Chollu, Shiva Mallari, Srikalahasteeswara Swamy verses and Meenakshi Pancharatna Keerthana, along with her group of dancers Bargavi Parameshwaran, Nandita Biswas, Shalini Dasaraju andAnanya Menon.
