LAHUNIPARA (SUNDARGARH):As many as 149 villagers of 35 families on Sunday returned to Hindu fold from Christianity at a home-coming ceremony organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Viswakalyan Dharma Yagya Samiti at the remote Bileipara village of Lahunipara block in Sundargarh district.

Sources said following ‘Vedic’ rituals the families converted to Hindu religion.

Among others, VHP National Secretary Dharma Narayan Sharma, senior VHP leaders Achutyanand Kar and Bishamvar Mishra and VHP’s Bonai unit president Chudamani Mahanta were present.
