State seeks gurus’ blessings – Times of India

Ahmedabad: Guru Purnima was celebrated with fervor across the state on Tuesday. Chief minister Anandiben Patel extended her greetings on the occasion and expressed gratitude to all gurus. Patel, who attended the ceremony at Ambaji temple, sought blessings of priest Swami Satyamitranandji. In city, people sought blessings of Jagannath temple priest Dilipdasji Maharaj. Pravin Togadia, International Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, attended saints at Geeta Mandir. Followers of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar celebrated Guru Purnima as Green Purnima and planted trees in various parts of the city.
