The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s All India Representative Council (Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha) meeting will begin at the Amrita University campus on Sunday.
The three-day sabha is being held for the first time in Tamil Nadu, said RSS all-India media coordinator Manmohan Vaidya.
Over 1,400 representatives from RSS and its allied organisations are expected to take part. The RSS has 11 zones and 42 provinces across the country.
The participants would share their experiences of the past year and report on their achievements and the challenges that they faced. The sabha would adopt resolutions on various issues facing the country.
The meeting would discuss the protection of indigenous cow breeds, the erosion of family values and the attacks on workers of RSS and its affiliates.
