Gorakhnath temple likely to be converted into mini-UP CM office
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s residence – the Gorakhnath Temple – is all set to be converted into a mini Chief Minister’s office.
Massive preparations are underway at the temple to welcome him when he returns for the first time after his swearing-in.
The temple premises, which are spread across 60 acres, have been decorated with flowers and colourful balloons in anticipation of Adityanath’s arrival.
As well, the temple’s security apparatus was strengthened after the oath-taking ceremony on Sunday.
Metal detectors have been installed at the entrance gates, and devotees are being thoroughly frisked before being allowed inside. Top cops are regularly carrying out security reviews.
A discussion about converting the temple into a mini CMO has taken place, sources said.
Adityanath is expected to pay a visit to Gorakhpur in a couple of days.
