CM K Chandrashekar Rao to visit Kuravi Veerabhadra Swami temple on Feb 24
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will present ‘golden moustaches’ to Veerabhadra Swamy temple at Kuravi in Warangal district on February 24.
During statehood movement, KCR visited this temple and offered to present golden moustaches to the presiding deity if Telangana statehood is achieved.
Dornakal MLA Redya Naik, his daughter and former MLA Kavitha on Wednesday called on the Chief Minister at Pragathi Bhavan and invited him to Veerabhadra Swamy Kalyana Utsavalu on February 24.
Later Redya Naik told the media that KCR has agreed to attend the Utsavalu and present golden moustaches to the Lord.
It may be mentioned here that the Chief Minister had offered golden ornaments to Lord Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala and golden crown to Goddess Bhadrakali at Warngal in recent times.
The MLA said that KCR will address a public meeting after visiting the temple. The district party leaders are making arrangements for a public meeting. Leaders and the people are expecting that the Chief Minister will dole out some sops to the area on the occasion.
