Pavitra Samarpana at Tiruchanoor temple – The New Indian Express
TIRUPATI: The Pavitra Samarpana was performed at the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Tiruchanoor, with religious fervour and devotion as part of the holiest of the Vaishnavite festivals, on the second day, on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, TTD EO D Sambasiva Rao said Pavitrotsavam is performed annually as per Agama traditions to ward off negative impact of any lapses occurred in temple rituals by priests or devotees.
Pavitra Samarpana was performed as per Vedic traditions by the priests.
