Two dead as dwajasthambham collapses in temple in Karimnagar
Karimnagar: Two persons died and three others injured when a dwajasthambham being erected in a new temple collapse in a temple inv in Karimnagar district on Saturday morning.
Sources said the dwajasthambham was being moved with a crane when the metal ropes snapped and the huge structure collapsed. A worker from Tamil Nadu identified as Shankar and a bystander named Nondemma died and three others were injured.
The injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
