One held for theft at temple
A 42-year-old man was arrested by the City police for allegedly stealing belongings of devotees from temples in the district.
According to the police, the accused has been identified as Sanal Kumar of Pothencode. He is accused of having stolen a bag from a temple at the PMG Junction. Upon investigation, it came to light that the accused has been involved in similar cases that have been registered in various police stations including Museum, Poojappura, Kazhakuttam, Fort, Thampanoor, Kattakada and Neyyattinkara. He has been remanded to judicial custody.
