The idols of Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati were allegedly broken by a youth in an inebriated state in Muzaffarnagar’s Khatoli town, police said on Wednesday.
The incident was reported on Tuesday evening when some locals visited the Shiva temple in Devidas locality and saw the vandalised idols, said circle officer Rajiv Kumar Singh.
