Hindu fisherman murdered by brutal torture in Barguna

Barguna:: Mitu Mondal (18) Hindu fishermen tortured to death on 21.07.2016. No case has yet been filed at Pathargthata police station -Barguna district despite four days elapsed.

The local administration trying to suppress the matter on plea of suicide. Local people said Mitu Mondal son of Monoj Mondal on 21.07.2016 at about 7 a.m went to fish in Hoglapasha river – on that day some bad neighbor namely 1) Harun Hawlader, 2) Joynal Hawlader, 3) Jashim Howlader, 4) Md. Zamal Howladar, 5) Md. Akbar Howlader, and 6) Joynal Howlader brought Mitu Mondal and compelled him to confess stealing fishes from other fisherman. Mitun was tortured by those perpetrators near the house of Harun Howlader. As a result of such torture Mitu lost senses. Ms. Shika Rani Mondal -mother of Mitu started searching his son and Harun Hawlader says “your son stolen fishes belongs to them” Thereafter the death body of Mitu traced hanging within the abandoned house of Ramesh Gomosta.

Thereafter police was informed about death of Mitu and police without taking any cognizance sent the dead body to Morgue for examination. The neighbor Robin Mistry informed that Harun Howlader and his associates killed Mitu strangulating by a handkerchief and they tried to conceal the death by way of committing suicide.
