Parliament should pass law for Ram temple: Tagodia | The Hindu
Vishwa Hindu Parishad international working president Pravin Togadia on Wednesday urged the Central government to pass a law in Parliament to facilitate Ram temple construction in Ayodhya.
Addressing party workers here, Mr. Togadia said if Parliament passed the law, the temple would soon be a reality. There would be no use in engaging in talks with those opposing the temple construction. There had been several rounds of talks which were not fruitful.
Those favouring the temple construction had in 1991 presented incontrovertible evidence for the existence of the temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya but the Muslim parties refused to accept the evidence, Mr. Togadia said. He claimed that even the Archaeological Survey of India’s excavations at the site had established the existence of the temple.
