Use ‘Gonyle’ — Ramdev’s unique way to prevent cow slaughter
New Delhi: Patanjali Ayurveda Limited that produces products of personal use as well as food items, on the occasion of the festival of Holy Makar Sankranti joined the movement to ‘Save Cow’ by launching its new home care product — Gonyle.
In an advertisement that surfaced in a national daily on Saturday it says, “Stop punishing your hands with chemical-based phenyl.”
The advertisement mentions this as an initiative taken up to serve the mission of saving the cow rather than sloganeering on it. It says that this is a step taken to free our country from the stigma of cow slaughtering.
The ad further goes on to say that the use of Gonyle can prohibit cows from being taken to slaughter houses.
The product Gonyle, being termed as an alternate to the disinfectant Phenyl, is made from cow urine, eucalyptus oil, pine oil, lemon grass and anti-bacterial herbs.
Several organisations had earlier issued a ‘Fatwa’ against Ramdev for allegedly using cow urine in Patanjali products, describing it as ‘najayaz’ (unlawful) in Islam.
