BJP MP asks Union HRD Minister to start providing practical education on Hindu rituals, specially on agriculture | Hindu Existence

senior BJP leader has urged Union HRD Minister Shri. Prakash Javadekar to work on providing education on Hindu rituals in Sanskrit linked schools, saying it will boost agriculture and employment. A third time Member of Parliament with BJP ticket and  Kisan Morcha (agriculture wing) and Swadeshi Jagran Manch (indigenous promotion wing) leader  Shri. Virendra Singh ‘Mast’ has written to Javadekar that ‘karmkand’ (ritualism) has a direct link with agricultural lifestyle and starting providing education on it will boost farm growth.

In his letter to Javadekar yesterday, Singh said, “You are requested to consider this policy which will take forward the tradition of ‘rishi-krishi’ and make arrangements for education in ritualism in Sanskrit linked schools.” In a statement, the BJP leader said that he has contributed Rs 1 crore from his MP fund to open 10 ‘karmkand’ schools in his Lok Sabha constituency Bhadohi.

Education on ritualism will help check “erosion” of social values and empower society and boost agriculture, Singh said. People trained in ritualism are in demand in India and abroad, he said, adding such education will boost employment.

“From the ages of Veda, the science of agriculture and integral agriculture comprising nature, human resource and animal resources have been focused in a holistic approach. But, the exploitation of nature and greedy expectation of huge cropping even injuring soil health has become a curse to the civilization now a days.  Introducing mechanized system ignoring the cattle resource, use of huge chemical fertilizer and pesticides have created as  critical crisis to the physical and psychological health of every one today. Ancient Indian System of Agriculture has the solution of all these severe imbalances. Hence, we should learn those agricultural process and management from our ancient scriptures”, told Virendra Singh to HENB.
