Mahakaleshwar temple area expansion work in pipeline | FPJ

Ujjain : Collector Sanket Bhondve visited Mahakaleshwar temple and its surrounding areas including Maharajwada school, to oversee the upcoming expansion project in the area. Since visitors at Mahakaleshwar temple have been increasing rapidly, the need for more space has become imminent. The collector instructed that, an air conditioned hall be constructed with a capacity of 100 chairs above the facility centre.

Bondve also instructed that unused objects stacked in the temple premises be written off immediately. The control room of the temple will be reconstructed with more space. Stories related to lord Shiva will be engraved on the walls of tunnel and marble corridor. Permissions for the construction of Phase 2 of a Yagyashala, Vedic Shodh Sansthan and cow shed to be built on temple premises should be taken immediately by Ujjain Development Authority, he said.

Navin Arya, Abhishek Dubey, Avdhesh Sharma, Dilip Garud and other officials were present during the visit.
