Dabur India Ltd, a research-based Ayurveda products maker, conducted an All India Ayurvedic Congress to promote the science and principles of Ayurveda.
The seminar was organized in the memory of Ratan Chand Burman and Dr Gaurilal Channa.
Ayurveda practitioners from across India shared a platform to remember these two forerunners in Ayurveda and discuss Ayurveda’s significance today.
Dabur India Ltd Marketing Head for Ayurveda, Dr Durga Prasad, said: “Worldwide, people have started to adopt Ayurveda in their lives for holistic well-being. As the world leader in Ayurveda, Dabur has been doing its bit to promote and propagate the benefits of Ayurveda.”
“Besides offering free health check-ups to people, Dabur will also provide Ayurvedic medicines, investigation and treatment to the poor and needy, free of cost,” he added.
To popularise Ayurveda among the new generation, Dabur has announced plans to institute a scholarship for students of Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The scholarship would be open to students at all leading Ayurveda Medical colleges in the country.
Dabur has also launched “Dabur Mediclub”, a portal aimed to connect and create a network of medical professionals, both Ayurvedic and allopathic, and for disseminating information regarding various Ayurvedic and health care products from Dabur.
