NASA just tweeted about Guru Purnima

Guru Purnima is celebrated as one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar. It is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of Ashadha – the period between June and July. This year, the day will be observed on July 9, and while a number of people are already talking about it on Twitter, NASA Moon, too, acknowledged it as a day.

It is tweet, which has also been retweeted by NASA, NASAMoon wrote, “Full moon this weekend – called Guru Purnima, Hay Moon, Mead Moon, Ripe Corn Moon, Buck Moon, or our favorite, THUNDER MOON (sic).”

Naturally, Indians on Twitter were thrilled with the acknowledgment
