Jamshedpur, Feb. 24: At the Sri Venkateswara Temple situated near Vijaya Gardens, Morakati, Baridih, the Maha Shiva Ratri puja commenced on Friday morning with Ganapati Puja, followed by Punyahavachan.
Later Ekadasha Rudrabhishek was performed for Lord Shiva and Maha Deeparadhana was shown to Lord Shiva and other presiding deities at the temple. Prashad was distributed to hundreds of devotees by the managing committee members of the temple.
In the evening Sahasra Jyoti Lingarchana (lighting of 1100 sacred lamps) was organized in the temple premises after which prashad distributed to devotees.
