Baba Ramdev is our times best known yoga guru. In a short span of time, he has gathered a huge fan following, given that he does carry a wealth of knowledge about yoga and Ayurveda. He, with the help of Acharya Balkrishna has built a business empire of Patanjali products.
His products have already become quiet popular with health conscious people. Also, these desi products are low cost, and comparatively more affordable than other Ayurvedic products, sold at premium prices.
Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali recorded a whopping turnover of Rs. 5000 crore and they say their next target is Rs. 10,000 crore.
Patanjali’s growing popularity has negatively impacted big names, and one of them is Colgate. Baba Ramdev has targeted his competitor and revealed a few contradictions that are there in Colgate’s advertisement that many of us would have failed to notice.
Though, Colgate is Baba Ramdev’s competitors and using such tactics to let each other down is nothing new. But, Baba has pointed out a very useful thing that consumers should now think upon. Here is the tweet.
Colgate used to warn against Indian traditional ways of using salt & coal on teeth. But now they actively endorse it pic.twitter.com/eYywXQpK4P
