Conflicts among the people of both Hindu and Muslim community in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh can be developed during this Basant Panchami. Hindus want to offer prayers in Bhojshala on the eve of Basant Panchami while Muslims want to offer their Namaz as Basant Panchami will fall on Friday this time. However, the administration has decided to allow Muslims to offer Namaz on Bsant Panchami in this Bhojshala which is also referred as Saraswti temple.
In Dharnagri, the administration has ordered all the petrol pumps in the area not to provide services on Basant Panchami. Due to this, Hindu community is in sheer anger, but administration has already done all the security arrangements to prevent Hindus from offering prayers.
This is nothing but a biased nature of both administration and government towards a peaceful community like Hindu.
In the Bhojshala, local women took part in a vehicle rally today in large number and urged the administration to let them offer puja there. Huge number of Hindus criticized the administration’s unilateral decision.
Around the Bhojshala premises, administration has installed barricades and even CCTV cameras are installed at various places in order to monitor the situation.
According to local people, authorities created a long 4Kms route to enter into the Bhojshala and locals here said that long route was created to prevent people coming to Bhojshala. It wouldn’t allow the Hindus to worship effortlessly on Basant Panchami.
The administration wants less Hindu gathering on the eve of Basant Panchami so that Muslims can easily offer their namaz in this sacred Saraswati temple.
The administration has assured the Muslims that they will be allowed to offer namaz in this temple from 1 to 3 pm in every condition. In 2013 too, the administration allowed the Muslims to offer Namaz forcible and during that time, clashes in both communities were also witnessed.
